I am a native Japanese speaker, and grew up in Tokyo, Japan. I came to the US for marriage in 2013.

I am a normal person just like everybody else. I recently graduated with a PhD in Chemistry, and I used to be top in my classes when I was in school. I said this not to brag, by all means, but to stress that anybody can do it too -- as long as they are passionate enough to work for it. My job is to help you find that passion, help you develop confidence in the subjects, or at the very least, help you succeed in your classes and exams.

I am a graduate of Springfield College. I received my Bachelor of Science in Dance and Nutrition. During my college years, I volunteered as a tutor for students from the middle school level to adults. Since graduation, I moved to Florida where I started my career in teaching and obtained my teaching certification. My first three years I worked as a pre-school teacher, and the last eight years I have been a high school teacher, having taught Spanish I, II, III, and AP Spanish.

I am a high school Spanish teacher in addition to being a tutor. I studied Spanish in primary and secondary school, and I graduated with Spanish as my second major in college.

I am currently a rising Senior at Rice University from Alexandria, Virginia. I'm studying Political Science and Latin American Studies with a minor in Politics, Law and Social Thought. After I graduate I hope to go to law school to become an immigration lawyer.

I'm a former high school English teacher and have an MFA in creative writing. I've had both poetry and short stories published, and I'm currently going through the publication process of my first novel.
