I am currently interning and pondering the next step in my career. I am a self-proclaimed "audio nerd" and do freelance work within sound design and audio production. I really enjoy the intricacies of language and would be very interested in delving into a graduate/doctorate program in German Studies eventually, as I have a BA in German from Bates College. Right now, I am studying for the GRE and applying to other grad programs in that area.

I am passionate about STEM and introducing these subjects to students as early as possible. At first glance, STEM learning may seem intimidating, but early and consistent exposure is key to tackling it later on in students' learning careers. Outside of academia, I like exploring museums and pop-up exhibits. I have also found that a stroll around the neighborhood calms the busy mind and recommend it to anyone in need of a break.
