As a student at Boston University, achieving high academic desires and grades comes with work ethic. I have put countless efforts in taking many approaches in my academic career in a competitive environment. This has helped me understand that memorizing textbooks is not all to it learning, but it is the way of breaking down concepts and integrating it into applicable situations. I want to not only help students learn their desired material, but also to internalize it.
I was born in Tokyo, Japan and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii gaining a deep understanding of both cultures. I am bilingual and can read, write, and speak Japanese at high business level. Even now, I constantly study the language because of how complex it is.
I am also comfortable and confident in teaching K-12 subjects in math and also introductory college business courses such as financial accounting and introduction to business. I previously tutored math and Japanese in high school and had great time seeing their progression each week.
On my downtime, I enjoy hiking the steep mountains of Oahu and body surfing in the warm waters that Hawaii has to offer. I also get quite heated in a game of chess..
I look forward to helping you along the way in achieving your academic desires.
