In this session I helped the student go through a study guide for her final exam. I made sure to press pronunciation and spelling throughout the session. We began with definite and indefinite articles (le/la/les & un/une/des). She has a knack for vocabulary, that's for sure. We talked about family members, school subjects, and used many adjectives.

The student and I completed our last session together. We covered the passe compose with avoir before discussing the passe compose avec etre. His comprehension of the elements that go into this past tense are crucial to his success in narration and talking about the past. I worked with him to not only recognize the tense, but to understand the phonemic differences between it and the present tense. We completed several activities and I gave him notes to keep for the last few weeks of class. I am proud of his progress and wish him the best in continuing with French.
