I am now applying to medical school and working with children and teens as a part-time clinical research associate and patient educator in the field of pediatric asthma at a prestigious academic medical center. Oh, have I mentioned yet that I have discovered the keys to all-around academic improvement?

I am dedicated to making difficult material more accessible and engaging to students who are struggling in an imperfect educational environment, and also to fostering literacy, writing and critical thinking skills that can be applied to all subjects and beyond. I am a research assistant at the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania, and in my free time, I enjoy theater, traveling and swing dancing.

I am a friendly recent college graduate who likes to make learning fun. When tutoring, I look for ways to relate the material to one of your child's interests, to better ensure he/she retains the material. I am passionate about programming, math and stats as well. My goal is to go into academia because I love learning and sharing what I have learnt with others. I never found learning new concepts easy or intuitive, so I always start from the simplest case when I teach.

I am a Stanford graduate with a B.S. in Science, Technology, and Society and a B.A. in Anthropology. I am currently completing my M.D. at the University of Rochester. In July, I will continue on to residency within otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.

I am currently a graduate student at Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester conducting research in Biophysical Chemistry. I recently graduated in June 2017 from the University of California - Irvine with two Bachelor degrees. One was in Biomedical Engineering and the other was in Materials Science and Engineering. With two engineering degrees, I feel comfortable working with students in all realms of Math and Science.

I am extremely excited to share my passion for these subjects with other students. Though math and science can often be intimidating, I hope to show how approachable these subjects really are. Everyone can succeed in math and science if they want!
