Hi I'm Kara! I graduated from Grinnell College in Iowa in May 2017 where I majored in biological chemistry. During college, I worked as a class mentor for 1st and 2nd-year biology classes. As a mentor, I helped during class time and lab, but I also held sessions twice weekly outside of class to review and teach the material. I really enjoy working with my peers on biology concepts.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media and I am an aspiring web designer. Mathematics has always been my favorite subject in school and also my favorite subject to teach. I want everyone who is learning Mathematics to enjoy it as much as I do, and that is what motivates me to help students. My teaching style mostly includes using real-world examples and problems to explain new concepts.
