I am currently working to get my Master's degree from Purdue University. I love tutoring people because growing up it was something that I was very scared to ask for but helping others who do reach out makes a huge difference in their own confidence in their academic life.

I first began tutoring in college the Tutor's Learning Studio. I helped other students in many courses like Biology, Chemistry and Nursing classes. I found great joy in helping others in difficult courses that I have been through myself, and I hope to extend that help to students here at Varsity Tutors!

I have a masters degree in biological anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon. I am a middle school earth science and math teacher. I have taught students from preschool through university level. I enjoy encouraging students to be active participants in their learning and to think critically. I also have an extensive background in primatology and a passion for wildlife conservation.
