I have been a life long student. I like to constantly challenge myself to learn more about different topics not only in the field of medicine, but in others as well. I have a passion for learning and imparting knowledge and mentoring students in topics that I am well-versed. I also learn a lot from my students and what they bring to the table. My educational career began as a Biology Major at the University of Maryland-College Park. I have studied and worked in India, Africa and the Caribbean. I also have a Master's in Public Health from The George Washington University to round out my experience. I was recently admitted to Harvard's prestigious SQIL program; however, I deferred my cohort due to Covid-19. Look forward to teaching and mentoring students in the life sciences and medicine.
