I am a recent college graduate eager to work with students to develop their skills. I specialize in most math and science subjects and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

I am currently a Biology major at the University of Texas at Austin. I am Pre-med and also hoping to receive my teaching certificate for composite science in the fall. Outside of academia, I enjoy rock-climbing, hiking, and music. I love taking my pup on adventures throughout the Austin area and just being outside in general.

Some techniques that I like to use while teaching younger students are color coded notes/pictures/diagrams, interactive activities, guided practice (I do, we do, you do), scaffolded steps (step 1, step 2), formula support (boxes to show where numbers belong), reading comprehension strategies, checks for understanding, and real-life examples.
