Hello! I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Computational Science. I graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a B.Sc. in Computer Science.
My doctoral studies fall at the overlap of mathematics, computer science, and physics. I enjoy coding software that adheres to professional coding standards but deals with solving complex physical problems. I have half a decade of experience coding in C/C++/Java. Some of the extensive projects that I have built include a microkernel in C, a puzzle video game in C++ and a compiler in Java.
Over the past few years, I have tutored students in senior level college computer science courses in operating systems and computer vision. I enjoy teaching and I look forward to working with students who not only want to master the course material but also want to learn more about the subject.
