I tutored at a writing center while an undergraduate student, and became an Advanced Certified Tutor through the College Reading and Learning Association. I also taught English classes in Russia for 2 years. I enjoy tutoring because of the opportunity it presents to constantly adapt lessons and teaching styles to best meet the needs of individual students.

I'm originally from Boston and I graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where I majored in Government and Sociology. During my junior year, I studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. After graduating, I moved to Washington, D.C. to pursue an internship in the federal government and I've stayed here ever since.
