I received a BS in Mechanical Engineering, but am current working as a Software Developer. I have tutored in the area of Mathematics for over 20 years and taught Development Math at Texas Southern University and Houston Community College. I take pride in getting students that have a difficult time understanding mathematics to a point where they not only understand the subject but also are confident in this new found knowledge.

I majored in environmental engineering at Tufts University, then woke up one day and decided to go to business school at the University of Kansas. At KU, I lived in a dorm and helped dozens of freshmen with math and English homework. I love being able to help people and take pride in my students doing well, so I'd like to continue doing that with Varsity Tutors.
