I am passionate about about helping students understand that math is important for understanding the world around them. As a certified math and business teacher, I have worked with students between grades 5 and 12, both in person and online, to fill gaps in understanding previous concepts as well as helping them grasp new ideas that are being introduced to them.

I'm currently in my fourth year of medical school and finally have some time to dedicate to teach other students. I believe that knowledge is meaningless unless it is shared and applied. I now want to share the knowledge I have acquired over an education of 25 years to teach students and facilitate their learning.

I am currently working on my BSN at Remington College School of Nursing in Orlando, FL in hopes of becoming a nurse midwife someday. I tutor a broad range of subjects: math, science, and english. I am able to help students with their studies using creative and fun methods. I love History and Literature, and I enjoy being able to help students learn the joy of reading. My favorite subject in elementary school was Math and I enjoy talking about fractions, the metric system, and the importance of knowing multiplication tables!

I am a history major and education minor. I am a 6th grade learning specialist at a Massachusetts Public School. I also worked in Marlborough as a para-educator for 7 1/2 years in grades 1-4. I specialize in modifying and shaping lessons to students' needs. I have experience with children who have: dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, add/adhd, developmental delays, neurological disorders, brain trauma, autism spectrum disorder, communication disorders and executive functioning delays.
