A good teacher cannot get her learning without being a learner themselves. As a lifelong learner myself, I believe my role is to act as a guide, giving students the tools they need to see their own value, analyze information and situations, and effectively solve problems.

I'm an actuary born and raised in Illinois. I went to school in Chicago and majored in Applied Mathematics. I have learned the value of learning the lessons of those that have traveled paths before me. I hope to carry their tradition. For fun, I play strategy games and ultimate frisbee.
