I am an incoming freshman at the University of Chicago, hoping to receive my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science with a focus on Economics. Since graduating high school as an IB Diploma student, I have interned at various NGOs, one of them being an Educational Service organization where I created educational activities and lesson plans in English and Mathematics for children at low-income schools in India. Throughout my last two years of high school, I have tutored students in SAT Math and Writing, Algebra/Pre-calculus, IB Economics, and college application essays. As someone with plenty of experience writing and editing college application essays, I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with students to portray the very best version of themselves in these profoundly important essays. Despite being comparatively young, I truly believe that my very recent exposure to high school academia enhances my ability to form a connection with students because I understand what it feels like to be overwhelmed, and my goal is to work with students at their own pace, thus creating an environment which is conducive to learning.
