I am a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota, with a Bachelor's of Science in mathematics and computer science, and a current graduate student at the University of Illinois in mathematics. I am most passionate about mathematics, and I love helping others learn and master the subject. In the past, I have tutored Calculus 1 and 2 and helped prepare students for the ACT. However, I am available to tutor any math subject as well as computer science. In my free time, I enjoy reading philosophy, going on bike rides, and discussion.

I have been interested in education most of my adult life. I earned a Bachelor's degree in 2004 in Physics Education with a minor in Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University. While I was studying for my degree, I began my tutoring by working as a communal tutor for the physics department in the winter of 2002. Soon after, I began my time as an online tutor in the fall of 2002. Once I finished my degree, I worked as a high school teacher for two years, teaching math and physics. I maintained my online tutoring job on the side. I have also taught at the college level for over 4 years part-time. All combined, I would say that I have over 10 years of experience.

I have been tutoring since my junior year of high school, and now that I am enrolled in college at the University of Texas at Austin, I am able to apply my personal experience in the college application process to help out my fellow students. I have lots of experience in taking Advanced Placement courses as well as standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT. I am a passionate teacher and would be honored to help you achieve your academic goals.

As a self learner, I understand different struggles that students like myself might come across. I have a great passion for math and would love to share the tips and tricks that I have discovered that are application to not only the liberal arts but also in non academic activities as well.

I currently attend Rutgers University and am pursuing a major in Cell Biology and Neuroscience as well as in Economics. Though I have tutored in numerous subjects, I enjoy teaching Math and Science the most as I am passionate about these subjects. I have also had a great deal of experience in taking and preparing for AP subjects. I strongly believe in giving my students the tools to tackle problems, which allows them to be able to figure out future issues on their own.

I have obtained Master degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Massachusetts and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Texas. I am a graduate of Minnetonka High School and an incoming freshman at the University of Minnesota. I have done 2 years of classes at the University of Minnesota through the PSEO dual credit program. I tutor physics and math, at the high school and introductory college level. In my spare time, I like to yoyo, play chess, watch movies, and read.

I am currently a Senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in the Biomedical Engineering program at The University of Texas at Austin. I am also a pre-medicine student and plan to attend Medical School after graduation. I have had the opportunity to work at Kumon Learning Center as the Lead Assistant. During this time, I tutored all levels of math but specifically focused on advanced math i.e. Calculus. Additionally, I have served as a private tutor in the past as well. I tutor a broad range of subjects, however, I am most passionate about math and science. Being a student in STEM and a STEM mentor I am hope to motivate and inspire students to show that these subjects are nothing to be afraid of and are something they are capable of doing.
