This is my 7th year teaching Mathematics. I am thrilled to join Varsity Tutors this year, and I'm especially excited for this opportunity to help the students to provide support and encouragement. I grew up in China and I have 3 years experience in teaching mandarin. I am currently teaching mathematics in Seattle high school. I graduated form Purdue University with a doctoral degree. I am currently getting my Physics degree at Seattle University with minors in mechanical and electrical engineering. I have a passionate for helping students and a drive to inspire them to use the tools from a variety of subject areas to solve problems and achieve their goals.

I am currently working towards a BS in Mathematics from La Salle University with a minor in Chemistry. After graduating this May, I plan on attending graduate school at the University of Washington for Civil Engineering. I enjoy tutoring as I see it as a means to help people overcome an obstacle.

I'm a PhD student in Bioengineering at the University of Washington, I recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University studying Biology with a minor in Spanish. I'm very interested in all things math and science and also tutor in Spanish and with the ACT. I live in San Francisco and would love to help out with anything of that sort. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside, fishing, kayaking, and playing many different sports.
