How can a Physical Chemistry tutor help you?

Physical chemistry is an important component of many STEM-related fields, especially anything engineering related. Unlike other chemistry subjects, physical chemistry is the mixture of chemistry and physics. Students are expected to know about things like acid/base reactions, as well as heat capacities, thermal expansion, and kinetics. Additionally, this branch of chemistry requires a more extensive knowledge of mathematics than other branches. If you are someone who is struggling with physical chemistry, consider working with a private tutor who may aid you in working to improve your understanding of the topic. Varsity Tutors may help you find a professional physical chemistry tutor in Seattle, WA, who may offer you engaging study sessions to make the most use of your time.

Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Garret in Seattle, WA
We discussed basic genetic organization, mutagenic transformations, and the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium today. We first discussed how genetic information is organized; first covering nucleic acids and then climbed up the hierarchy to the genome. We discussed point mutations (deletion, substitution, missense, and nonsense) and then chromosomal abnormalities caused by point mutations. Towards the end we briefly covered the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, discussing how to calculate it (and its derivation from the quadratic formula) and what each variable means.

Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Hannah in Seattle, WA
We continued to review all of the concepts. She can usually recall everything if I give her a key work/trigger/example and some of the triggers/examples she is actually incorporating in her explanations so I know she's solidifying things every day. Will review it all again Thursday for her Friday exam.
