I am student - centered and have been teaching for almost 30 years! Yikes! I know my stuff and collaborate with my learners to create a plan that meets their goals and increases their knowledge.

I am passionate and comfortable with any type of science, specifically biology, chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology. I have experience with all types of teaching styles that can appeal to any type of learner, and am comfortable working with students one on one or in groups. Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exercising, and being outside, whether it be on a beach or on the mountains!

I am currently a senior at Oregon State University majoring in mathematics and statistics. Math has always been interesting to me, and I naturally like to work through math problems with people of all ages.

I am also currently studying to become an actuary. I've been tutoring math students of all levels from elementary arithmetic to calculus since 2009. My favorite subject to teach is algebra because it's so important to have a solid foundation in it, and it's a subject that many students struggle with.
