I am graduating from Carleton College this spring with dual degrees in Statistics and Mathematics. I have been tutoring children with special needs since I was 16 and have experience teaching abstract mathematical concepts using concrete examples. I also currently tutor statistics and mathematics to college students here at Carleton. I believe that all students are capable of learning and try to cater my instruction to the learning styles of my students. When doing math, it is easy to get discouraged and feel like we will never understand something. In reality, being stuck on a problem is a fundamental part of doing math, and there is a lot that we can learn from getting things wrong! In my free time, I love playing music, playing volleyball, and going on long runs in the country.
