The Walter R. and Eliza Smith Moore House was constructed in 1835. It is a Federal style building that houses a front portico and a contributing meat house. The Sanders-Hairr House, built in 1787, is a five-bay, two-story Georgian and Federal style home. The Clayton Graded School and Clayton Grammar School-Municipal Auditorium is an educational complex that was built in 1915. The auditorium was built in 1926 by Charles C. Hook.
