I am an alumna of The University of North Carolina-Wilmington and I have a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. I am currently working towards my Masters in Elementary Education. I tutor elementary subjects and middle grades math, writing and science. I have worked with students as a teacher assistant in an elementary school and I was a reading tutor in college.

I am a Registered Nurse by trade, receiving my first degree, an Associates of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Leadership, in 2007 from the University of North Georgia. I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing through Western Carolina University in 2018. I then completed a Master's in Nursing Education through the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2020.

I'm not boring, though! Throughout both high school and so far in college, students would often ask me for help in classes, whether it be helping with specific content or just with how to study for that specific class. Over time, I realized that I really liked to help people. After all, that is also one of the reasons I'm pursuing nursing. I am a current nursing student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and I have loved it so far.

I am a graduate of Gaston College from the ADN program. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UNCW online. I am currently in the Master of Science in Nursing Nurse Education program and will finish July 2, 2023. I am passionate about nursing, hospice and palliative care, and advocating for patients.
