I have had a passion for teaching since high school. My inspiration to become an art educator was my art teacher. Since then I have been learning and gaining new skills to reach that aspiration.

I believe that each child is a unique individual! It is my desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential. I have 10 years of teaching experience on grade levels K and 6-12.

I am an English instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and have a Master's in Creative Writing. I love getting the chance to work with people across all ages and cultural backgrounds.
