Hey! My name is Gavin Cramer, and I am excited to help you with all of your math needs! I have my undergraduate degree in applied mathematics with a minor in computer science from Auburn University, graduating this past May. I will also be beginning my master's in applied mathematics and statistics this fall at Johns Hopkins University. I have ample experience in a variety of sectors of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, and calculus, and am eager to share my knowledge on these subjects with students of all ages. I also have tutored before in my local community and was a learning assistant for college precalculus and calculus II this past schoolyear at Auburn. Looking forward to helping you hone your math skills!

I have taught English at both high school and college levels. I have taught reading to children ranging between kindergarten and adulthood.
I first became interested in World Languages when I was a child. I visited horse farms with my father who was a farrier. His job exposed me to Mexican workers who took care of the horses. In this I became enthralled with peoples, cultures and languages not my own. After I grew up I received a BA in French and English from the University of Kentucky. Unexpectedly, I had to graduate and needed another language class. I decided to learn Italian. Through this 'mistake', I have tutored many people through the years! After my undergraduate, I entered the working world and used my French in a variety of ways. I have been a missionary, professional clown and a tutor. Now I am celebrating 17 years in the classroom as a teacher. I have since earned my Master's in French Education and my Ed. S in Foreign language education. I am currently shopping for a PhD program. Through it all I have enjoyed working through the learning process with others. They have taught me as I have taught them. I look forward to helping you too!

I have tutored high school and college students along with developing and teaching advanced engineering courses in the industry classroom environment.I am proficient in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, circuits, physics, and C++ programming. My experiences have transformed progressive mathematical theories, system engineering principles, and physical ideas into practical industry solutions. I am also proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Microsoft Office applications
I have been tutoring friends and classmates since elementary school. Even in my day-to-day job newer scientists come to me for help. Most recently, a new hire explained that he learned from me best because I help to make the subject matter applicable and relatable. It makes it easier for him to remember. I do have a full-time 7am-4pm job and with that I am only available outside of typically 'working hours'. In addition to my full time role I am also an adjunct instruct at 2 colleges.
No toy was safe in my hands. As a child, I always took my toys apart to see their inner components and how they produced sound or light. Most survived the reassembly stage, while others were mourned by my mother's pocketbook. When I was in the fifth grade, my mother gave me my first toolkit. To say the least, I took apart everything in the house that could be disassembled with a screwdriver. Along with deconstructing anything that gained my interest, I also enjoyed crafting things.I associate these childhood curiosities with my current interests as I find myself wondering how natural phenomena occur and daydreaming about inventions. Studying the interactions between humans and technology have been in my interests for most of my high school and college career. My short-term goal is to explore different focuses so that I can develop an understanding of my personal interests in the field of physics. My long-term goal is to use my passion for sharing knowledge as an educator and to help others find what peaks their curiosities.

I received my PhD in Literary Studies/English from Georgia State University. My primary concentration was Medieval Literature, and my secondary concentration was History of the English Language. I love literature, words, and writing! While earning my PhD, I spent a semester in Venice, Italy, which really broadened my perspective on all aspects of language and writing. I taught English 1101/1102 English Composition to hundreds of students for five years at GSU. I also taught Survey of World Literature there, as well as Academic Writing at Mercer University as an adjunct professor. My doctoral dissertation has been downloaded hundreds of times around the world, and counting! It focuses upon specific representations of fantastic beasts and monsters in Old English writings (you've perhaps heard of the redoubtable Grendel?). Over my years of teaching, I immensely enjoyed working with students to enhance THEIR enjoyment of the writing process, which many did not initially feel that they possessed. I have always taken great satisfaction from accompanying students through the various stages of the writing process until arriving at polished finished products of which they were proud to call their own. In my spare time, I love reading (not a shock there), looking up word origins, writing, traveling a bit, and spending time with my family and friends.

Whether it's breaking down financial concepts or exploring data-driven insights, I find joy in making complex ideas accessible. Education has always been my way of connecting with others, sparking curiosity, and fostering growth. As I move forward in my studies, I hope to not only deepen my expertise but also continue inspiring and learning from those around me.
