Hi! My name is Juana (Emmy) Uzquiano and I am a junior at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am a native Spanish speaker, growing up immersed in the language, speaking it at home, taking classes through high school and college. I am currently double majoring in Spanish and Psychology, due to that I have taken about two semesters of college Spanish courses.

I am a member of the Teach For America Corps and will be teaching Spanish in the Baltimore City Public Schools this fall.
