I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Sociology. While pursuing my degree, I also studied at the Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico and lived with a family there.

I have enjoyed communicating with Spanish speakers in Human Resources and interpreting jobs, as well as teaching English and Spanish to a variety of ages and levels through tutoring.

When teaching Spanish, I make sure to tailor the sessions to the students' needs and interests, while also sharing my passion for the language and the culture that shapes it. I like to make the learning fun and meaningful, incorporating Spanish music, stories and conversation. I believe that these practices help the language come alive and help us remember it.
