I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Sociology. Since graduating, I have enjoyed communicating with native Spanish speakers in Human Resources and interpreting jobs, as well as teaching English and Spanish to a variety of ages and levels through tutoring. When teaching Spanish, I make sure to tailor the sessions to the students' needs and interests, while also sharing my passion for the language and the culture that shapes it. I like to make the learning fun and meaningful, incorporating Spanish music, stories and conversation. I believe that these practices help the language come alive and help us remember it.

In my spare time, I enjoy listening to Spanish podcasts, attending fitness classes, learning piano and playing pop songs, spending time with my husband and our two Chihuahuas and volunteering in the community.
