As a multilingual educator passionate about empowering students, I am dedicated to helping learners grow in confidence and curiosity across a wide range of subjects. I believe every student brings unique strengths, and my role is to nurture those while providing personalized support that makes learning meaningful and enjoyable.

Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, I am currently work in a public school as an elementary teacher, supporting students in English and Spanish. I hold a bachelor's degree in education and am actively pursuing ESL and bilingual endorsements.

With over 8 years of experience, I've had the privilege of working with students from early childhood through upper elementary, supporting their growth in English Language Arts, Math, Science, Spanish, and ESL. I am especially passionate about language arts, science, and ESL, guiding students as they build communication skills and deepen their understanding of the world. I love using inquiry-based learning to make science concepts exciting and accessible.

My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and adaptability. I create supportive spaces where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and celebrate their progress. Whether exploring scientific phenomena, tackling math problems, or strengthening language skills, I tailor each session to my learners' needs and interests.

Beyond teaching, I am an avid reader, enjoying everything from fantasy to contemporary novels, and I am an aspiring author working toward publishing my own stories. I also enjoy traveling, discovering new cultures, and spending time with my family (including my playful dog!). I bring this sense of wonder and love of learning into every tutoring session, with the goal of helping students not only succeed academically but also develop a lifelong love for discovery.
