In this session we covered more rotational forces, especially inertia, angular momentum, and torque. The student has been reviewing these topics in class and we approached the topics with a specific aim of studying for the AP Physics C exam. We specifically reviewed many of the common systems that will be presented on the AP exam. The student showed a very complete understanding of the ideas and we will continue reviewing and learning new topics in preparation for her test in May.

Worked on some science fair action- actually started the experiments, which were pretty fun. Looked at the student's Q3 grades, which have improved slightly. Looks like we should be able to at least wrangle A's and B's out of them by the end of the semester. Science: C/C- English: B+/B Spanish: 79 History 88.5 Math: 72.5. We want at least a B in everything, so Math and Science are the big issues. But his last two math Quizzes/Tests since we started were a 100% and a 93%, so I'm hopeful. He is going to let me know what is going on assignment-wise on Tuesday, and we are meeting up on Thursday night.
