I graduated from McGill University in Montreal where I received my Bachelor of Science in Bio-Organic Chemistry and Biotechnology. Throughout my studies, I was involved in tutoring math and science to other students and high-schooler students through McGill's tutorial service and by being a Teaching Assistant in my department. After graduation, I moved to Zurich where I spent a year working as a medicinal chemistry researcher, studied introductory German, and traveled extensively. Now in Boston, I work in radiation oncology research, volunteer as an instructor for the Museum of Science, and am researching graduate programs that I may want to attend. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and staying active by running and skiing as much as I can.I am comfortable tutoring a broad range of topics in the sciences and math for standardized exams. I feel most confident with organic chemistry since I have helped many struggling or confused students map out the reactions and mechanisms, develop study habits, and ace their exams. As an instructor, my aim is to focus on teaching concepts and fundamental principles since this approach builds understanding and allows students to tackle any problems they face.

I am a graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics where I pursued pre-collegiate research in biology, and a current student of biology and public health at Columbia University in New York City. My entire professional experience has been centered on education and pedagogy. I began my tutoring journey amidst the pandemic, seeking to assist students who struggled with virtual education. Since then I have dedicated myself to assisting those who traditional learning environments are inadequate spaces for education. Each person learns differently and I have proven methodologies to adapt my teaching style to uniquely cater to each and every student.

I completed my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Virginia where I majored in Chemistry and Spanish. I subsequently attended the University of California, Berkeley where I earned a Master of Science in Chemistry. I have instructed and tutored students in a variety of subjects, including biological sciences, chemical sciences, and Spanish. I have served as a teaching assistant for a variety of undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses, including biochemistry, general chemistry, and organic chemistry. Through these experiences, I have taught, assessed, and tutored students of all levels and am very familiar with the common and not-so-common challenges they face. More importantly, I have strategies for helping students past their obstacles. There are often useful tips and tricks to help students manage difficult material with greater ease. Above all, I value creating a comfortable environment where even a timid student can feel comfortable taking chances and making mistakes with the material, free of embarrassment, in the name of improving. As I've said to my students, it makes no sense to struggle silently with a hard subject. If you have a question or need some help, all you need to do is ask.

Hello. I am a graduate of multiple STEM programs and have a passion for lifelong learning and helping others along the way.I first graduated with a B.Sc. Chemistry (minor Physics) from the University of Calgary where I also completed an M.Eng. in Geomatics Engineering focussing on digital signal processing of 2D remote sensing images as well as seismic geophysical data. I have also worked in the electronics field for two years having completed an electronics diploma at SAIT but was spurred on by interests in antenna radiation patterns that led me to a data processing positioning using InSAR technology later in life. I also graduated summa cum laude in civil engineering from the University of Ottawa with a minor in computing technology (management option) but also took options in biology and chemistry to go along with environmental engineering, fluid dynamics, statics, strength of materials and engineering math courses. I then went on to pursue a Masters in civil engineering at Carleton (in progress) where I am analyzing SAR data to detect ground movement above aquifers but also gained an outstanding teaching assistant nomination at the same time while completing a certificate in teaching methods specifically related to how students are motivated to learn in online environments. I worked six semesters as a teaching assistant and consider it to be the most rewarding employment that I have been involved with; I love helping students learn and make the most of their education while balancing all of life's busy requirements. All that is to say that I am dedicated to understanding the student from many different backgrounds and learning styles and helping them on their journey seeing them succeed.

I have been helping kids with chemistry, on Varsity platform. i have also help kids prepare for the NYC tests. I am a graduate in Organic Chemistry from Delhi University, India. I have taught for almost 11 years in a public school. The best part about teaching is to explore new ideas with young minds. I have been helping kids understand science in an interactive way. While I mostly enjoy helping kids with Chemistry, I also help younger kids with Mathematics.I believe tutoring is always a two way process, wherein the teachers learn from their students. The thing I like most about teaching is my students. I love interacting with them, helping them understand the content of the course. In the time left after tutoring, I enjoy doing yoga, reading or taking a stroll in nature.

I received my graduate degree from Tennessee Technological University. I have been teaching chemistry to college students since last 10 years and fortunate enough to work with diverse groups of students both in the United States and abroad. This experience helped me to recognize students' strengths and weaknesses, and bestow focused support in their learning. I am very approachable and never disparage my students for not knowing something. Outside of academia, I like traveling to different places to enjoy nature, and make new friends and learn about their cultures and traditions.

I love to teach. The feeling of pride in someone else's accomplishment, the intellectual challenge of explaining a concept to someone else, the joy of seeing when it clicks in the student's head...those are only a few of the benefits that I get from teaching. I work tirelessly to tailor my lessons to my students' personal learning style to ensure their success, and I'm grateful for every opportunity I have to help students through teaching and tutoring.

I have always enjoyed educating others. As an informal science educator, I enjoy helping people discover and appreciate the intricacies and beauty of science and mathematics. Throughout college I worked as a math tutor helping students with courses calculus and above. Once in graduate school, I had my first teaching opportunity as a teaching assistant for Honors General Chemistry. I strove to utilize the lessons I learned as a math tutor during my first teaching assistant position at Cornell University. After finishing my PhD, I took a position as a science educator, which has allowed me to continue my love of translating science into everyday language with enthusiasm and accuracy.
