i'm currently in the University of Notre Dame and am going to declare my major as Science and Business.

I am current master's student pursuing an advanced degree in environmental engineering. I have about 3 years of experience tutoring a standard math and science curricula to students ranging in age from 7-17. I attended college at Washington University in St. Louis receiving a degree in mechanical engineering and energy engineering in 2020. During my time there, I worked as a teaching assistant for several different engineering courses, tutoring students outside of class in the calculus and physics related topics. As someone that benefitted greatly from tutors and teaching assistants, I really love being able to help students that are struggling in certain areas. I am able to help with standardized tests, focusing on math and science sections, AP Calculus and AP Physics exams, and high school math. Hobbies: books, writing, reading, music, hiking, art

I am a rising Sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. I graduated at James E. Taylor High School as rank 7 out of over 600 students and swam for my high school swim team for 4 years. Currently, I'd say I'm most experienced in math and science and above average in English and would feel most comfortable teaching any of these subjects. I'm welcome to any other subjects and will try to provide the best tutoring services for you.

I am interested in sharing my knowledge with students, in helping them understand the subject and solving problems. I believe a good tutor can provide guidance, leading students through a thought process in solving problems. A good tutor will motivate the student to think and propose his or her own solutions and develop independent learning.

I am a graduate of The University of Portland, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, I worked for Nike as a Test and Validation Engineer on their Digital Sport products (FuelBand, SportWatch, Nike+, etc.) for one year before returning to graduate school. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, with a focus in design and manufacturing, and will graduate in the summer of 2015.

I am passionate about both. I have been a teaching assistant, tutor, researcher, guest lecturer, researcher, and am currently a practicing engineer.

During my time there, I was exposed to the many inequities that exist in accessing resources in STEM and since then I've been passionate about breaking down any barriers to entry. I've worked as an Engineering teacher, exposing students to Robotics, Engineering Design as well as Architectural design through platforms such as VEX, Roblox, Onshape, Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Revit. As a mechanical engineer, I love to do anything that's hands on, innovative and challenges and improves my own skills. STEM is meant to be fun!
