I teach students "how" to think, rather than just "what" to think. This, I believe, is the cornerstone of effective problem solving and innovation. Asking Google or Alexa for an answer is not permitted with my students UNLESS the student has a solid grasp of the subject matter at hand. One of my favorite teaching techniques is explaining a complicated topic using everyday life examples or anecdotes from my experiences.I strongly encourage all my students to be curious, ask questions and then challenge them with questions as well.
