While in school, I tutored my peers at FDU's Center for Academic Student Success in various subjects including biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, writing, mathematics, among others. Upon graduating, I spent time working as a Lab Assistant in a Cosmetics Lab. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music and playing the flute and guitar, along with writing stories and poems. I have a passion for science and education. I believe that there is nothing more precious than an inquisitive mind, with which we have the drive to discover the world around us. Challenges are necessary to become successful students and successful members of society. It is how we deal with those challenges that we prove our excellence in the world. Hello! My name is Danny and I am a fourth year medical student attending the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. I am currently applying into a surgical specialty for residency and have been inducted to the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. I will be available for recurring tutoring sessions in the DC area! I have extensive experience tutoring students of all age ranges from elementary through undergraduate years in both classwork, test prep, and writing both privately and for various universities/test prep centers. I love to work with students of ranges and try to be patient with them when explaining topics. To briefly introduce myself, I have finished my doctoral work at Princeton University and started working as a postdoctoral fellow in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2015.I worked as a teaching assistant during my graduate years and gained an experience as a private tutor in high school biology.Having studied molecular biology for more than 10 years, and having experience in teaching high school and college students, I am confident that my skills would be appreciated by my clients.My fluency in Korean can also deliver academic assistance and preparation to Korean-American students as well.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Forensic Biology and Two Master Degrees; one of Education and the other of Fine Arts. I have dedicated my professional career to educating Biology and Theater students in Higher Education, High School and Middle School. I am passionate about intentional and experiential educational practices which I believe are the foundation for success. I focus on providing applicable knowledge and skills for all students. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Biology and Theater. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, reading, watching movies and directing/performing in community/regional theater productions.

I completed five years active duty service. I continue to serve my community in the National Guard. I am attending Finger Lake Community College with a major in nursing. I have experience tutoring both in the military and through school programs. I worked for past universities tutor departments and a program that helped to improve kids reading throughout the summer. I have strong organizational skills and study habits so I can help students improve these habits if needed. My different mentoring experiences have all left positive impressions. I thoroughly enjoy seeing students thrive especially the moment things "click."
