In college I got to study abroad in Spain for a short summer term in 2016. And in 2019 I got to go to Havana, Cuba on a mission trip. I love cultures and languages and am always eager to learn more and share that passion with others. I teach Spanish in a one-to-one personalized format at a private school in Plano. I've lived in DFW most my life but got my BA in Spanish at Central Arkansas in Conway, AR-- about 30 minutes outside Little Rock.In my down time I like to swim, run, hang out with my dog (black lab, name's Gimli), read, and draw. I love my family and friends and am always excited to connect with others. Usually I'm a little reserved at first, but really I'm laid back, warm, and down to earth (most of the time, ha). I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky's College of Engineering with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Classics giving me a strong background in mathematics, language and the hard sciences.My Tutoring experience began with volunteering for a Homework Help program through the National Honor's Society in high school and I have been helping students in one degree or another ever since.Having always been an avid learner, I seek out new information and want to pass on my love of learning to others.
