I lived and worked in Germany for 20 years. I married a German man, and we had 3 beautiful children in Frankfurt. I worked for well known German corporations and had the wonderful opportunity to live and work within the German culture and language. I worked with Berlitz language school for a few years and learned valuable teaching skills specifically designed to teach students of all ages to learn a second language. I loved that job!! It provided me a rich experience that I was then able to bring with me into following companies. Would like the opportunity to share that once again.

I am a senior at St. Olaf College and will graduate in May of 2016 with degrees in Economics & Psychology with a minor in Management. I have currently accepted a job serving as an investment management consultant in Boston, MA. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping students prepare and succeed in academics. I especially enjoy helping students study for standardized tests. A lot of high school is spent prepping for college and with proper instruction anyone can get into the college of their dreams. I believe that I can help students achieve their goals. In addition to standardized test preparation my passions lie in public speaking and management. My interest in numbers led me to a bachelor's degree in Actuarial science and a master's in Statistics with the focus on data analysis. During my time there, I traveled extensively and was involved in several social service clubs, campus choir, and I also volunteered my time at the local Boys and Girls club to assist the kiddos with their homework assignments. Upon graduation, I began a career as a financial professional, where I advised families, individuals, and businesses by taking complex (and often confusing) financial subject matter and breaking them down into simple steps. I've always been passionate about learning, and I believe any subject (yes, even the "boring" ones) if given proper care and attention can bring a profound sense of achievement and meaning to our lives.
