I graduated from College of Management, University of Massachusetts Boston.In my more than 10 years of teaching, I have shared my knowledge of Chinese in many different capacities. I've taught corporate executives practical Chinese at the business level, led classes at a Chinese language institute, and worked with students one on one.Thanks to my management and business experience in corporate America and my many years of strict training to be a reciter when I was at school in Beijing, I am better able to help my students communicate and succeed in using Chinese for their needs..In my own experience, learning to speak another language is not just about mimicking the sentence flow and pronunciation, but also understanding the culture behind the language.I want my students to enjoy the learning process wherever they are and take pride in the fact that they're not just learning new words, but also learning the wisdom, philosophies, and history behind them.When you communicate with someone using their language, it's a form of love. I currently attend the University of Pittsburgh and have almost completed a double major in Biological Sciences and Spanish with a minor in Chemistry. In high school, I also completed the International Baccalaureate program and completed some AP classes as well. My career plans are to go to medical school and become a physician. I have scored A's in all my classes, so I hope to help you score well in your classes as well! I mainly specialize in tutoring any type of Biology, Chemistry, Human Physiology, or Spanish course. I also tutor for standardized tests, such as the SAT and the MCAT. I recently took the MCAT and scored very high on the science sections (132 Psych, 131 Chem/Phys, 129 Bio), so I would be a good resource for MCAT material as well.In terms of tutoring experience, I am a Teaching Assistant at my university in various biology and chemistry courses. I have also taught guitar and piano lessons at my studio. I specialize in classical piano and guitar and also flamenco guitar, but I can definitely teach the basics of those instruments or other genres.

I am a graduate from the University of North Texas. I received my M.S degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I am passionate about biomedical research. I have been a biology and French tutor for more than four years. As a teaching assistant and a tutor, I listen closely to the student's concerns and provide academic assistance in courses such as Biology, Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology, and French. I can teach in English and French as well. My hobbies are reading, traveling, cooking and playing tennis.

I was in high school when I first fell in love. How could I resist its simplicity and elegance? I'm referring to math, of course, but I didn't always like the subject. Until about age 16, I thought of math as a boring, mind-numbing process of blindly memorizing formulas and then forgetting them after the test, but a series of wonderful teachers showed me the truth. I had thought that everything in math was invented arbitrarily just to torture students, but actually it all made sense in a deep way. When I caught a glimpse of what math really was, I found it irresistible and I ended up majoring in math in college at UChicago. I'm currently a Master's student in Computer Science at NYU.

I am a graduate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Psychology. I am currently working as a medical scribe upon matriculation into medical school. I worked as a tutor for Kumon Learning Center while in high school and continued to tutor during college.My favorite students to work with are elementary and middle school students, but I am able to help with high school students as well. I have the most experience in tutoring reading, math and science-related subjects.My teaching style embodies two main qualities, the development of productive habits and exposure to a wide variety of study methods. I believe in consistent encouragement and repetition in order to achieve one's desired academic success.In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball with my friends, going running and working out at least 4 times a week.

I grew up in OKC, OK and went to high school in Edmond, OK. I have a B.S. in Sociology from OU, a M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Drexel University in Philadelphia, and I am currently in my last year of medical school at OU. I am preparing for a career as an emergency medicine physician. I enjoy being outside and going on hikes with my husband. I also like to wind down by baking and bingeing shows!
