English, from novel analysis to creative writing to essay writing, is my favorite subject. My teaching philosophy is success stems from understanding. I want to help the student understand, rather than just making them memorize formulas and facts. Outside academia, my interests include music, art, writing, and reading.

I have been tutoring for nearly six years, both independently and through ASU's sanctioned on-campus tutoring centers. I love tutoring and watching my students learn, grow, and succeed. I am a firm believer that practice makes perfect and that my students and I are a team and if they aren't doing well, then neither am I.

I'm currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science at Columbia University. Originally from Amman, Jordan, I bring a unique international perspective to my teaching. I'm deeply passionate about Math and Physics and enjoy helping students not only understand these subjects but also develop confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
