I recently graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science, where I majored in Biology and minored in both Chemistry and Psychology. I am currently completing my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. I am a very friendly and outgoing person who works well with individuals of any age in order to provide a learning style unique to the individual's needs. I have a passion for Science and Medicine, but also love Math and English. I have taken high level courses such as AP and honors classes in Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, English, and Math throughout my academic years. I have tutored a wide range of age groups including middle school siblings, high school family friends, and college students in the past. Additonally, I have been a teachers assistant for an elementary school where I got to teach students and tutor them in areas they might need extra help. I have also been a teaching assistant in Introductory College Biology, which allowed me to work one-on-one with individuals in order to clear misconceptions, answer questions, and further improve their knowledge to help them succeed in the course. Currently purifying proteins at the National Cancer Institute. Attended Trinity College '19 and majored in Biology (and Philosophy). Advanced Orgo was an elective I took...still contemplating why I did that.I enjoyed coupling my studies as a Teaching Assistant in order (1) cement the material into my knowledge and (2) help fellow classmate take on challenging concepts in biology and chemistry. I was a TA for intro biology course, biochemistry, cell biology, general chemistry and organic chemistry.

I've always liked helping people and I think sharing my many, many years of work experience (especially software engineering) allows me to give real-world knowledge to those who thirst for knowledge. Or even to those who just want to pass a test.

I'm a recent Georgetown University graduate originally from San Diego, CA. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Science, and I graduated with Honors with Distinction. While at Georgetown, I completed the pre-medical track and minored in Math. I'm an experienced standardized test taker, and I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic potential! I have tutored elementary school through college students in reading comprehension, math, SAT prep, and chemistry, and even started an afterschool engineering program for elementary school students. I am a strong proponent of framing intelligence as a muscle that is strengthened over time rather than an innate characteristic. While I'm not tutoring, I enjoy cooking, reading, and playing with dogs.

As a prior NHS president in high school, I have a great amount of experience helping young learners with understanding different concepts especially Biology and Math! I recently graduated from Claremont McKenna College, where I studied biology and wrote my thesis on the potential link between gut microbes and depression. I was a general biology major, but have a passion for microbiology and health. In college, I taught fourth graders various STEM subjects weekly, and focused on hands-on engaging ways to teach these topics. I have also worked as an office assistant at my college's disability resource center, a camp counselor, and a soccer coach, so I have experience working with a wide range of age groups.Through tutoring, I hope to instill a passion for science in my clients, by making tough topics easy to understand and relatable to everyday experiences. As a recent graduate, I know how frustrating and confusing some of these topics can be, and I have developed my own tips and tricks to better understand them. I look forward to helping others work through those difficult topics and get them excited about science!In the future, I hope to attend medical school. When I'm not studying or tutoring science, I enjoy hiking and camping in the Pacific Northwest.
