I am a recent graduate of Hudson Valley Community College. I originally pursued a career in art; apprenticing under tattoo artist Bret Zarro. I have sold paintings and drawings for personal collections from New York City to Australia, and continue to hone my craft in a multitude of mediums.
Currently, I am starting my career in funeral service. I chose this field because of my desire to help people and my love of learning many different subjects from the sciences, to the arts, and technical skills such as embalming.
I chose to become a tutor specifically to help other funeral service students to pass their national board exams. I understand how intimidating this exam is and how limited preparation resources are. During my schooling career I developed tactics for retaining the information needed for the NBE, and I would love to share them with others.
I also tutor drawing, painting, and fine arts. I have 10 years of professional experience in the arts, but more importantly, I love the process of creating beautiful works. My mentor Bret Zarro taught me that being a good artist is just learning a few tricks, and he was right.
