Hi! My name is Zina Yonten and I am currently taking the Fab-academy course out of Dassault Systemes in Waltham. I have a mechanical Engineering degree from TCU. During my undergraduate years, i tutored underclassmen precalculus and calculus 1 with 100% success rate. I also tutor economics since it was one of my favorite classes and i excelled in it. In my free time I play basketball.

I received my education at Fitchburg State University (BS), Salen Syaye University (M.ED), and Harvard University (M.ED) I taught Mathematics at the High Schoolm Level for 17 years. The subjects were Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Trigonometry. My tutoring style is using the Socratic method of starting with what the student knows to learn what they don't. Very effective. My outside interests include sports and movies.

...ages! WHY I tutor math: To me, I don't really see math as an academic subject, but rather an art form. It is a universal language that everyone knows how to speak, regardless of who you are. Math is definitely NOT an easy subject. In fact, I struggled with it too. I want to teach my students not only how to cope with difficult problems, but to develop an appreciation for math.

I am a recent graduate of Tufts University with experience tutoring primarily middle-school age students in English, science, math and history, and adult learners in politics.
