I embrace a student centered approach to student learning. This means that I let the student lead the discussion of a particular problem. I have been teaching for 6 years at the high school level, having come off a BS in Math with a minor in Physics from UC Merced(go bobcats).

From my own experiences in high school and undergraduate STEM programs, I understand that the material is frequently taught poorly and/or in uninteresting ways that can make it difficult for students to succeed.
