LSAT Tutoring review by Ryan in Everett, WA
The student and I worked through a logical reasoning section. His score was a bit lower. We talked about focusing on the conclusion of each argument some more and other strategies for improvement. We then worked through a logic games section. He showed improvement in his ability to make some deductions and also better efficiency here.

This was my first session with the student. We started by briefly going over what she has done so far to prepare for the exam and what her strengths and weaknesses are. It was very clear that the student needs the most help with logic games.

LSAT Tutoring review by Haley in Everett, WA
We talked a lot about applications, retaking the SAT, and entrance-related options today. We also reviewed the new book and how to use it; We will be putting together a study plan in the days to come. We worked through two games in the SAT book and one from the June test, focusing especially on catching difficult inferences to crack the game open.

I had the student work through two full logic game sections on his own. Then I had the student go through a logical reasoning section page by page.

LSAT Tutoring review by Carl in Everett, WA
The student took a practice exam in between our last session and this one. She's been reviewing that test over the course of the week, so we picked up with the topics that were most confusing for her: formal logic (in particular, if and only if) and the difference between inference and assumption questions. We also discussed expectations in general and the work that goes into particular score increases. I'm confident she'll be able to reach her goal by June. I recommended an additional lesson book to get her started, and over the coming week, she'll be using that book to begin her prep.
