My approach to tutoring is non-directive. I ask questions to help guide students to answers, which helps them practice critical thinking skills and deduction, rather than rote memorization. Overall, this leads to a greater understanding of concepts and a better ability to recall information and perform academic tasks independently.

I spent the last 4 years of my military career in the adult learning arena teaching organizational leadership. I volunteered with Junior Achievement to teach elementary school kids about finance. I love learning and teaching others to help them succeed.
