I got my undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado in Economics and a Minor in Political Science. Then I spent a year in China studying Mandarin and working with a faith-based organization. After returning to the USA, I worked a couple of years as a personal and business banker. Then I got a four year Master of Divinity at Denver Seminary. I am very passionate about helping others succeed!

I'm a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with extensive international and academic experience both researching and teaching languages. I demonstrate a strong passion for cross-cultural exchanges and language pedagogy with students of all ages! Languages of expertise include French, English as a second/foreign language, Spanish, and minority languages in Senegal (West Africa) and Guatemala (Central America).

My main passion in helping students is to make a lasting difference in their lives. I have a Degree in Social Work; thus I combine my background in Education and in Social Work to engage students. I work with both typical and special needs students, which is another passion of mine!

My personal writing journey has been long and tedious, but well worth the struggle. Once I improved my writing, I gained more confidence in my academic work.
