Hi! My name is Daniel. I have been tutoring the reading comprehension, writing/verbal, and essay sections of the SAT, ACT, SSAT, and ISEE for over 4 years now. I also offer academic tutoring and essay assistance. I graduated Cum Laude from NYU in 2012 and have been tutoring ever since. I am originally from Boston, MA.I enjoy making my tutoring sessions fun and engaging so that I can best motivate my students. I work with my students on a highly personalized basis, and I pride myself on being able to identify their strengths and weaknesses so that I can tailor my teaching style to meet their specific needs. I am a graduate of Tarleton State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education and a certification to teach all subjects PK-6th grade. Since graduation, I have been teaching in a small Title I school in rural Texas. While I have mainly focused my teaching career on Reading instruction, I am also passionate about Science and Physical Activity. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, I find that we are most successful when we can make our prep fun! I am a firm believer that education should be fun, and I try to impart this to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy watching Netflix, most forms of exercise, cooking for my husband, and spending quality time with my daughter.

I am a current undergraduate student at Pennsylvania State University. I am Triple majoring in Linguistics, Spanish and World language education with minors in TESOL and Korean. I have tutored within my highschool honor societies for different ages and levels. I have also been a part of my highschool ESL program and am currently instructing an ESL and Spanish class in my university. I have a passion for language acquisition and teaching. Given my background in Linguistics, I have a deep understanding on how to convey and interpret language. I am a dedicated instructor that uses language as a tool to connect with others and build unique relationships. I intend to connect my students with the cultures and values that come with learning languages and embark a passion for these ideals. Although language is a big component of my life, I do like many other things. I enjoy Cooking, Music, spending time with loved ones and a variety of video games.

Following High-School graduation, I chose to move to Philadelphia to be on the East Coast and learn the ins and outs of the business world for myself. Upon graduation, I have been working part-time for my family businesses, and gearing up to go to Law School in the coming years.My love of learning and tutoring comes from my background in education. Since 2003, my passion was to help others learn and succeed, and I began to do so by working with children on the Autism Spectrum, as well as those with learning disabilities. Hi! My name is Anu. I am a sophomore at The University of Texas at Austin (aka the greatest university on the planet...HOOK'EM!) and am studying Biology with a side of philosophy and business! I am hoping to enter medical school or optometry school to further my dreams of working in medicine! I am looking forward to tutoring students in biology, reading, and writing and getting y'all ready for college!

I am passionate about teaching ballet, jazz, modern dance, beginning tap, and yoga to students of all ages. I have been teaching dancing for 27 years, and have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and a minor in Dance from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. I am also a certified group fitness instructor through ACE and am currently working on my 200-hour YTT certification. I enjoy working with my students both one on one and in groups, either in person or online!

I am looking to get some more experience tutoring and teaching with the idea of pursuing further academic work in the future.
