I work with students to boost interest and engagement while increasing skill levels. I teach science subjects, reading and writing as well as executive functioning and emotional and mental wellbeing.

I am a San Jose State Alumni with a BA in Humanities, Liberal Arts and a minor in Child and Adolescent Development. I enjoys reading, writing and English. As a CHAD minor, I have spent over 50+ hours volunteering with various non-profits to better Elementary students reading skills, but I am also capable in tutoring any of my listed subjects.

I have spent numerous summers counseling children from ages 7-16 (both male and female) and am extremely comfortable talking to and relating to this age group. I am a great tutor because I use analogy, mnemonics, and memorization tricks. I find the easiest way to reach an understanding that will "stick" in a student's brain is in terms of something they are already passionate about.
