I have always had a knack for seeing multiple solutions to a given problem (even receiving a little gag award for our fifth grade graduation, titled: "I have a better way to do that" award). In addition to the natural joy I get from tutoring, I also enjoy solving the puzzle of determining which solution method matches best with how each student learns and thinks.

Background is in organometallic synthetic chemistry. Recently received B.S. in Chemistry from Loyola University Chicago. Pursuing PhD in Chemistry this fall at the University of Vermont. Interested in tutoring students in Chemistry or Math. Previous experience taking the GRE (general and subject test) as well as the ACT. Passionate about creating a comfortable atmosphere where the student feels open enough to discuss any difficulties and establish the right connections to succeed in the future.
