As a Science Education major at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I have learned science and math at a high standard, but, more importantly, have been taught how to frame my knowledge in fun and easy to understand ways. Although I am extremely passionate about all forms of science and math, I have discovered that my true passion is in teaching. I want to not only help my students learn, but to actually get them excited about what they study and to find what they enjoy in school.
I have worked in the field of education for a decade and have tutored students from four years old to over eighty. Everyone has different ways of learning and I strive to cater to that. I have tutored, taught at the high school and college level, and worked as an educator at a planetarium. I am extremely dedicated to my students as I always want them to succeed as well as have fun with their education. I am excited to start learning together!
