...am an accounting major at Loyola University Chicago. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Chicago. I decided to move here because of the vast career opportunities in accounting. I became a tutor because I have always enjoyed helping my fellow classmates with their homework. My personal goal in tutoring is to not only aid students in learning material, but also teach them how to learn material on their own.

Tutoring is about a lot more than studying, tests, and knowledge. I believe the interpersonal relationship involved with teaching greatly benefits both parties. Learning is fundamental to life- and turning otherwise cumbersome and difficult tasks like passing a hard class into a lightbulb moment is where I find my satisfaction. Turning such a familiar struggle into newfound realization and understanding is what I aim for.

I am a driven tutor that is dedicated to make my students shine! I am freshly graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Business. Focusing on economics, algebra, writing/reading, and college applications, I am currently a graduate student at Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism.
