But like the great emergence of the cicada, I would not apply myself again for another 13-17 years. Lol. I have always been interested in puzzles, games, and tinkering around with tools. Naturally, the sciences peaked my interests just enough to provoke flashes of my academic potential....

...with these intentions. Since then, I fell in love with science and research and decided that I would go to medical school. As a doctor, I will be able to continue my passion for teaching while helping others in their most vulnerable states. I am starting medical school this fall at the University of California, Davis and am excited to begin my life long journey of not only treating others, but teaching my peers.

...the fulfillment of succeeding in academics. Outside of school, I LOVE cooking and spending time with friends! I also love playing musical instruments, mainly flute because of its difficulty and vast repertoire. My main goal for my students is for them to become competent and comfortable in their subject areas.
