I first began tutoring when I was in high school. There was just something about helping others learn difficult concepts that really appealed to me. I thought I might have wanted to become a teacher of some sort and went into UC Berkeley with these intentions.
Since then, I fell in love with science and research and decided that I would go to medical school. As a doctor, I will be able to continue my passion for teaching while helping others in their most vulnerable states. I am starting medical school this fall at the University of California, Davis and am excited to begin my life long journey of not only treating others, but teaching my peers.
