About Me

I graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Government and from Fordham University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. I have ten years of experience as a volunteer and private tutor to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. I have tutored a variety of subjects ranging from math and science to standardized testing, but I especially enjoy tutoring in the areas of English, literature, and writing. I believe in creating a specialized tutoring plan to address the particular needs of my student. My emphasis is on creative (and hopefully fun) learning techniques that engage my student and help him or her confront problem-solving in a way that best suits his or her learning style. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy reading fiction, going to the movies, and spending time with my friends and family in the sunshine.
